Taylor's Grand Concert body design is great for fingerstyle players, as well as for light strumming. The back and sides are made from rosewood, lending the guitar a strong bass as well as a certain brilliance in the higher range. The body-neck joint at the 12th fret increases the bass, whereas a thin 3.5 mil finish ensures optimal vibrational behaviour. As for the pickup, you'll have Taylor's own active ES2 dynamic piezo system, with bass-, treble- and volume controls.
